Mylos Shelter is being constructed as an environmentally & financially sustainable space for our animal rescues who need a safe and peaceful environment after a tormented life. It is Spread over an area of 7000 square feet , in a serene and silent space in the interiors of Mylasandra - off NICE Road. It is a part of four-pronged model adopted by Mylos Rescue to achieve its vision of ending stray animal suffering in Bangalore. Our facilities include separate isolation for dogs with contagious diseases, veterinary clinic and a pet grooming center supported with a full-fledged community kitchen to serve 1000s of dogs starving in hunger.
Our rescue center has the facility to accommodate 226 dogs at one time with necessary infrastructure and ambience.
We will have a separate adoption center for dogs which are healthy, vaccinated who look for a loving home.
Canine Distemper and Parvo virus cases are kept completely isolated in a quarantine zone to avoid any kind of infections.
An emergency vet assistance is taken care by our private veterinary clinic in our own Mylos rescue premises.
A commercially spectacular grooming center for all the inhouse dogs and the other dogs who wish to get groomed and feel healthy.
A free community kitchen to serve food for dogs around Bangalore free of cost to feeders, rescuers and animal lovers.
We present you here with the entire proposal for the Mylos Shelter. Further about our rescues and rescue operations can be viewed at www.mylosrescue.com
Mylos Rescue envisions to eliminate stray animal suffering in India. We aim to achieve it using our four-pronged model:
We are currently operating on a very small radius and we intend to expand in the next few months around Bangalore. Your Support is important to us to achieve this to help end animal suffering.
On 27th April 2021, when Lockdown was implemented across Bangalore, Mylos Rescue took upon the responsibility to feed 3,500+ stray animals every day and save them from starving and a painful death. Mylos Rescue successfully ran its Lockdown Feeding Initiative for 50 days along with 40+ honorable feeders across entire Bangalore with over Rs 10,000 in daily expenses to run the initiative. Mylos Rescue thanks for all the contributions from the community to make the initiative a resounding success.
